One email address, read by a person. Corrections and source-backed disagreements get priority, because they make the site better.
Our starting point is a platform holding an active Washington money transmitter licence (550-MT-117925) and a FinCEN-registered MSB filing. You can verify both yourself before depositing a cent.
We aim to reply within a few business days. Seattle Crypto is based in Seattle, Washington, and operates online only — there is no office to visit and no phone line.
What to write to us about
- Corrections. A fee that has changed, a machine that no longer exists, a licence detail we have wrong, a bill that has moved. Include a source if you have one and we will check it against the primary record.
- Provider feedback. If you are a company and believe we have described your fees, limits or licensing inaccurately, write to us. We will verify and correct if we were wrong. We will not remove accurate criticism.
- Gaps in coverage. If there is a Seattle-specific crypto question we have not answered and should have, tell us. Several pages on this site exist because a reader asked.
- Questions about our method. Happy to explain how any figure on the site was arrived at, or which primary source it came from.
What we cannot help with
We are an independent informational site, not a financial services company. That means there is a category of message we genuinely cannot act on, and it is better to say so than to leave someone waiting.
- We cannot access, unlock or investigate any account. We have no relationship with any exchange, kiosk operator or bank, and no ability to see your transactions.
- We cannot recover lost or stolen crypto. Nobody can, reliably. Anyone promising recovery for an up-front fee is running a second fraud — see our scam guide.
- We cannot give you financial, investment, legal or tax advice. We are not licensed to, and we will not do it informally over email.
- We cannot tell you what to buy or when to sell. Those are investment decisions and they are yours.
